February 2014 - The Updown Gallery

Having moved to a village near Swindon two years ago, I continue to travel around Kent and the South East to both past and new clients. A project on which I have spent quite a lot of time over the past year is an Art gallery in Ramsgate in Kent, which has just celebrated its first anniversary and is currently showing at Art14 international art show at London Olympia. It sells art featuring 20th century artists and has a range of completely different exhibitions which usually change every 6-8 weeks. The building which houses the gallery was completely renovated by the curator Kate and her husband Guy, to a very high standard providing a beautiful setting for the works of art. I had the privilege to be the photographer for the opening nights in November 2013, to which local dignitaries were invited along with people from London and the South East and a few friends and family. I have photographed the private views and the exhibitions over the past year and also photographed Kate for news items, for her blog and facebook, as well as her website and promotional articles. For those of you interested in art, this is a great place to go and view art and possibly make an investment for the future in something beautiful to hang on the wall. Otherwise you could have a look at my photographs as I have some beautiful images too.
